Blokus Trigon is an exciting game which has simple rules but offers an infinite number of combinations on a unique hexagonal playing board with triangular pieces.
This variation brings a radically new experience to the game! It is a little more complex than Blokus Classic. Blokus Trigon will therefore suit all the players who already know Blokus, and particularly adults. It is an ideal game for three players.
One of its best features is that it takes only seconds to understand the rules.
With Blokus Trigon, 2, 3 or 4 players use different coloured and shaped pieces to try and fill as many places on the board as they can. Strategy is important and the only rule is that your piece must touch one of your other pieces at the corners - and only the corners! But with Trigon there is a variation - a corner can now touch an edge, creating a whole new world of strategy and options. So with Trigon, the one rule is now that pieces cannot touch along an edge.
As each new piece is placed on the board, the rest of the game changes. By using tactics when you put down your pieces, you can extend your territory and block your opponents. This makes sure the game remains lively from beginning to end.
Play it with your family or among friends: with Blokus you are guaranteed to have fun moments that challenge you and make you think. When it is played by four people, the game is very animated and the outcome is never certain! Played by two people (where each player has two colours), the game provides the opportunity for more strategic and careful thinking.
